Seanteq Communications runs a Community Development and Upliftment program that focuses on underprivileged members of our society.

Our beneficiary for 2009 was Ms Martha Sibiya. She is an unemployed widow who lives in Luphisi in Mpumalanga. She is looking after her 5 children and 1 niece, who is an orphan in a small 3 roomed house. Her major challenge is providing food for the children.

Seanteq Communications linked up with DJ Madumane of SABC’s Ligwalagwala FM who connected us to Make Thoko Mdluli. Make Mdluli has been offering a helping hand to the Luphisi community. She took us to Ms Sibiya’s homestead where as Seanteq Communications we presented some food parcels for Christmas.

We established that Ms Sibiya’s homestead did not have toilet facilities. An extra room would also go a long way in accommodating this family. She also highlighted to us that school uniforms were also a major problem for her as she was unemployed.  Ms Sibiya would greatly appreciate it, if she could get some employment as a domestic worker.

Seanteq Communications will also provide a PC for the children. We also hope that we can link up with other organizations or individuals who would help this family meet their needs.
